I had the great fortune to study in several academic settings. I have a B.A. in Biblical Studies (Central Bible College), a M.A. in Religion (Gordon-Conwell), and a M.A. in Old Testament/Hebrew Bible (Gordon-Conwell). In addition to my graduate work at GCTS, I took many courses at Boston College and Boston University with several leading scholars in their respective fields. This experience exposed me to several subfields within religious studies, including archaeology, linguistics, and the history of religious thought.
My research interests include: the Hebrew Bible generally and specifically biblical Wisdom Literature (Proverbs in particular), sexuality in the ancient Near East and in the Hebrew Bible, social structures in ancient Israel, Paul’s epistle to the Galatians, and modern pedagogical approaches to ancient languages. Other interests include consuming and roasting coffee (in various forms), collecting and reading books, and hanging out with my wonderful wife.
